FEARS AND PHOBIAS – From Anablephobia to Zemmiphobia, imaginative drawings, with text, in limited edition.

It started with a simple, off-the-cuff drawing: Dentophobia, fear of the dentist.Then it struck me that this fear is just one of the many that people can suffer from.

I had stumbled across an enormously rich vein of inspiration: fears and phobias.

To handle the stream of images, I decided to use the alphabet as an ordering principle.

Enjoyment of drawing and humour have played an important role in producing this graphic book. There is a serious undertone, though. People’s lives can be severely affected by fear, as I know from my own experience.

The drawings with accompanying text have been collected in a picture book, published by publisher Xtra.ISBN 978-94-90759-98-8

Unfortunately the book has been sold out.

The prints are also available separately, numbered and signed. Each illustration is printed in an edition of 20 copies.
